G.R.E.E.N Internship Program
Objective
The GREEN Youth Internship Program will provide one (1) post secondary graduate
with career related skills enhancement and work experience to help them make a
successful transition into the labour market. priority will be given to occupations
in the GREEN economy
Eligible Participants
Post secondary graduate within the past three years and up to the age of 30
years who are unemployed or underemployed and a Six Nations band member
Eligible Coordinators
GREEN businesses and organizations. Employers must have:
- Revenue Canada Taxation number to remit an individual’s Employment Insurance
Benefits;
- Proper bookkeeping practices and policies in place;
- Third party liability or WSIB coverage.
Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is negotiable; up to 100 % of entry level salary or wage.
Limited training dollars may be available. Special costs related to a disabled
participant may be provided if required. No MERC's (Mandatory Employment Related
Costs) provided.
Duration
Funding may be provided up to 52 weeks.
Criteria
The internship should result in full time employment in a career related field.

one-page description of why they consider this employer and occupation to be GREEN

at GREAT.
