Six Nations Women of the Grand River Project
The Six Nations Women of the Grand River's project The Community Leadership Program held a successful launch on January 18th with over 50 participants attending. The launch featured various leaders from the community.
January 30th marks the beginning of weekly sessions that will run every Thursday from January to July. The primary workshops will deal with project management, innovative teaching approaches, public speaking & job interviews, resolving conflicts & peace building as well as employment rights. The secondary workshops are then divided into three categories: personal/social development, economic development and professional/community development.
