Local Labour Market Partnerships (LLMP)

Objective

• To support partnership activities to create employment.
• To assist Six Nations members and businesses in developing and implementing strategies to deal with labour force adjustments and to meet human resource requirements.
• To build on capacities and strengths of organizations and relationships that currently exist within the community.
• To build and support lasting, self sufficient capacity.

Financial Parameters

• Negotiated contribution to capital costs (infrastructure and equipment) taking partners contributions into account.
• Partners include but are not limited to employers, businesses, financial organizations, community organizations, government.
• Feasibility studies costs, consultant costs, legal fees.

Duration

Up to 52 weeks

Criteria

Participant must submit an acceptable business plan clearly outlining:

• The benefit to the community.
• Number of anticipated jobs created for community members.
• Employer and other partner contributions.
