Local Labour Market Partnerships (LLMP)
Objective
To support partnership activities to create employment.
To assist Six Nations members and businesses in developing and implementing strategies to deal with labour force adjustments and to meet human resource requirements.
To build on capacities and strengths of organizations and relationships that currently exist within the community.
To build and support lasting, self sufficient capacity.
Financial Parameters
Negotiated contribution to capital costs (infrastructure and equipment) taking partners contributions into account.
Partners include but are not limited to employers, businesses, financial organizations, community organizations, government.
Feasibility studies costs, consultant costs, legal fees.
Duration
Up to 52 weeks
Criteria
Participant must submit an acceptable business plan clearly outlining:
The benefit to the community.
Number of anticipated jobs created for community members.
Employer and other partner contributions.
