Local Labour Market Partnerships (LLMP)
Objective
- To support partnership activities to create employment.
- To assist Six Nations members and businesses in developing and implementing
strategies to deal with labour force adjustments and to meet human resource
requirements.
- To build on capacities and strengths of organizations and relationships that
currently exist within the community.
- To build and support lasting, self sufficient capacity.
Financial Parameters
- Negotiated contribution to capital costs (infrastructure and equipment) taking
partners contributions into account.
- Partners include but are not limited to employers, businesses, financial
organizations, community organizations, government.
- Feasibility studies costs, consultant costs, legal fees.
Duration
Up to 52 weeks
Criteria
Participant must submit an acceptable business plan clearly outlining:
- The benefit to the community.
- Number of anticipated jobs created for community members.
- Employer and other partner contributions.
